Dear Friends, Colleagues and Family,
I am on the road again this weekend, trying to walk a 100km in a day and raise a little money for Deutsche Alzheimer Gesellschaft e.V. to support research into the care of people suffering from dementia. This time I have the additional goal of not losing my toenails. Christian is with me again this year, and every step of pain for us should do good for others.

Die Deutsche Alzheimer Gesellschaft ist eine Selbsthilfeorganisation, die sich zum Ziel gesetzt hat, die Situation der Demenzkranken und ihrer Angehörigen zu verbessern. Sie betreibt das bundesweite Alzheimer-Telefon, gibt Informationsmaterialien heraus, organisiert Tagungen und Seminare und fördert die Forschung. Mit der Kampagne Demenz-Partner vermittelt sie in kostenlosen Kompaktkursen Grundwissen über Demenz und Sicherheit im Umgang mit Menschen mit Demenz.
