Join my support team as I run the Berlin Marathon with a few of my Team World Vision teammates in Germany this September!

I am fundraising for World Vision Germany (Deutschland e.V. ) to help bring aid to the refugees from Syria (1.1 million) that have been displaced by the on going conflicts in the region. I am looking for 20 people to give $50 or 50 Euros to help me reach my goal by my birthday July 1st.

In 2009, I began my journey to run my very first marathon ever in Chicago, my hometown. Then I got this crazy idea to make it a life goal to one day run all the Marathon Majors (Chicago, New York, Berlin, London, Toyko, Boston). In 2014, Team World Vision gave me the chance to run for child protection at the NYC marathon. This year, I have the opportunity to run the Berlin Marathon for World Vision. 

Did you know that 50% of these refugees are children? 

Some are with their families, many are alone. All refugees are in need of aid such as food, warm clothing and safe shelter.

World Vision Germany is at work providing aid by going to conflict zones and bringing supplies and relief to those who have fled. It's cold on the borders. Your donation helps provide warm blankets, clothing, shelter, food, water, hygeine packs, health care and HOPE.

I cannot go to the conflict zone to lend a helping hand, but I can give to help those who are already there on the frontlines. I know and trust this organization to handle their funds and resources well. I really think that World Vision is doing a great job and I have decided to raise funds to help them perform their work. If you want more information on this please contact me.

I am going to run 26.2 miles with Team World Vision to say, I care and I want to help make a difference in the lives of these children.

Right now the conversion between US dollars and Euros is almost equal.
