Why I am running this time!?
World Vision International has focused on the needs of children who had been orphaned in Uganda, Romania, and Somalia in response to AIDS, neglect, and civil war, respectively since the 90's. And after becoming a father, I can only wish for all the children on this planet to have optimal opportunities in a safe environment. The same opportunities I have tried to give my son.
I think that World Vision is doing essential work to ensure this and I have decided to raise funds to help them perform their work and combat child abuse in all its forms. The only way I know is helping raise awareness, and that is why I am running the Berlin Marathon in September of 2017 for this noble cause. I would greatly appreciate if you could help me in my fundraising efforts by making a donation to World Vision or bringing awareness to my fundraising efforts. There are no small donations.
