My dear family, friends, and colleagues,
I have been really gifted all my life. I am convinced that, all of us in the same situation shall wish to help others less lucky... financially, or, much worse, health-wise.
I am a marathon finisher in Paris and New-York in 2013. Hard. Unbelievably hard. Painful. Terrible. Awful.
I have been injured during training prior to the race - the two times. But my brain did it over my body and brought me twice to the finishing line. Long races but I made it.
Each time I cried at the arrival. Such an emotional moment.
Running Berlin 2015 is yet another personal challenge. I'd love to train without injury, and run the race below 4h30. I also dedicate this effort to someone very close to my heart.
I will find my motivation to go through all this suffering, long months of hard training commitment, efforts and dedication, into a cause worth it. I made a career in the pharmaceutical industry because I believe in our work to bring therapies to people that extend and significantly improve their lives. At Pfizer, we are working together for a healthier world.
I am calling on you so that our race in Berlin 2015 helps children fighting against cancer.
The organization “Imagine for Margo” conducts advocacy and fundraising to help research on specific, innovative and more effective treatments for children with cancer, to provide support to affected families and help the welfare of children in the hospital.
http://www.imagineformargousa.com/I really think that "Imagine for Margo" are doing a great job and I have decided to raise funds to help them perform their work.
I would greatly appreciate if you could help me in my fundraising efforts by making a donation to Imagine for Margo or bringing awareness around my fundraising efforts. There are no small donations.
Donations are processed through Alvarum.
It is very easy and 100% secure.
Thank you for your help!
