You may or may not know that I lost a dear friend to cancer a couple of years ago. I also lost my grandmother to cancer. I've been helpless on the sidelines supporting friends and colleagues who've battled, battled harder and thankfully survived. I've been even more helpless watching friends on the sidelines supporting their parents, relatives and friends... I also currently know two people who are in the midst of that fight.
cancer sucks, and it probably especially sucks for kids!
