Hi everyone,
I am planning on running my first full marathon for charity in Berlin, Germany. The charity is Plan International Deutschland. I wanted to pick a charity that had something to do with supporting children all over the world. It is an international child relief organization which works in developing countries in Africa, Asia and Latin America and advocates for child rights. Children are the centre of their work. The funds go to strengthening boys and girls around the world and improving their life with long term programs and projects.
Their goals and visions are: Plan will help shape a world in which children suffer no poverty, develop healthily and develop freely - in a society that protects the rights of children and treats them with dignity and respect. Regardless of their origin, religion, and political conditions.
If anyone is curious 95% of the donations go directly to the causes while the other 5% go to financing the charity itself.
