Dear Friends and Family,
I will be running the 2014 Paris Half-Marathon (21 kilometers) on March 2nd to raise funds for Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) / Doctors Without Borders. I hope you will join me in supporting this wonderful organization that provides independent, impartial assistance in more than 60 countries to people whose survival is threatened by violence, neglect or catastrophe, primarily due to armed conflict, epidemics, malnutrition, exclusion from healthcare, or natural disasters.
On any given day, more than 27,000 committed individuals representing dozens of nationalities can be found providing assistance to people caught in crises around the world. They are doctors, nurses, logistics experts, administrators, epidemiologists, laboratory technicians, mental health professionals and others who work together in accordance with MSF's guiding principles of humanitarian action and medical ethics.
Médecins Sans Frontières is committed to bringing quality medical care to people in crisis regardless of their race, religion, or political affiliation.
Please consider making a contribution to this vitally important humanitarian organization that is alleviating suffering and saving lives every day. And please help spread the word by forwarding my fundraising page to anyone you know who might be interested in making a donation.
More information about Médecins San Frontières / Doctors Without Borders can be found on the organization's website:
