Hi Amigos,
coming Saturday we are attending the 20km Dam to Dam walk. The purpose is to fundraise money for Afroned. This volunteer driven association is running great school development projects in Sierra Leone. In this small and beautiful country (about 7 million inhabitans) 70% of its population live in poverty.
I know the founders of Afroned and I know that our money is good hands. They are all volunteering and all the money we fundraise will end up where it's needed.

Stichting AfroNed
Stichting AfroNed wants to improve the lives and perspectives of children in Sierra Leone. In this country in West Africa, going to school is not a given as it is in many other parts of the world. One of the reasons for this is that parents often cannot afford to pay school fees for their children. To overcome this hurdle, we facilitate primary education without asking for school fees. Our core activity is building schools in the Koinadugu district, Sierra Leone's largest district.
